Guide to Applying
Please read through all the following instructions carefully.
Please note that HMUN Dubai only accepts applications submitted directly via our conference registration system, Knack, which is linked below. Registration through any third-parties are considered invalid.
Please see the steps below on how to register for the conference.
1. READ THE CONFERENCE POLICIES.
Please make sure you have read, understood, and agree to our Conference Policies prior to starting the registration. Note that all applicants must be current high school students between the ages 13-18 years in order to be eligible for the conference.
There is no minimum/maximum number of students to form a delegation at HMUN Dubai; this total is subject to the number of seats available at the time of submitting your application.
2. APPLY ON KNACK
By submitting an application on Knack, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies and conditions outlined in our Conference Policies above. The HMUN Dubai Team will review and accept applications on a rolling basis. You can expect to receive a decision within 2-4 weeks of the date that you have submitted your application.

3. PAY DELEGATE FEES AND FACULTY ADVISOR FEES.
You can find the link to the Conference Fees & Inclusions here. After you have been accepted to the conference, the HMUN Dubai team will be in touch via email with detailed instructions on how to proceed with paying your fees.
Your application will not be considered complete until you have submitted 50% of the Conference Fee at the time of acceptance. Failure to do so may result in your application being waitlisted/dropped. Any outstanding fees can be paid by the 31st of October.
4. A. RECEIVE COMMITTEE ALLOTMENT AND COUNTRY ASSIGNMENTS.
Once you have been accepted to & have paid for HMUN Dubai you will receive your delegation’s Country & Committee Allotments on Knack. A detailed email about the same will be sent to your registered email address.
Please note that any request for releasing allocations without completing any of the above steps will be considered invalid.
4. B. UPLOAD DELEGATE & FACULTY INFORMATION TO KNACK.
After acceptance, you will also be able to update the Delegate & Faculty Information on your Knack homepage. Please make sure to fill in the information diligently as it will be used to print the ID cards & certificates.
Make sure to also download, complete, sign, and then upload the Delegate & Faculty Liability Waivers to your Knack application. The Liability Waiver will be made available on our website soon.

4. C. REQUEST FOR VISA INVITATION LETTER.
Please note that only delegates & faculty advisors who have been accepted to HMUN Dubai 2026 may submit a request for an invitation letter to info@hmundubai.org. HMUN Dubai team will not respond to any requests post November 15, 2025.
