Sony Board of Directors
Topic Description
The year is 2015, and in the past few months, the Guardians of Peace have maliciously stolen confidential data from Sony Pictures. The reason? Sony’s planned release of The Interview, a movie that isn’t very friendly to North Korea. In fact, the movie centers on a scheme between the United States and South Korea to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. With sensitive information being leaked by the hackers, threats of terrorism on the rise, and employees growing increasingly dissatisfied with the company, you are forced to confront the cybersecurity issues they face head on; you must decide how to best protect the company’s, and America’s, interests.
As an eclectic group of Sony executives and U.S. government officials, you must guide Sony Pictures through these hacks. It won’t be easy though. The hackers' demands are ever-changing and always more complex than they seem, and a wrong move could mean the end of Sony Pictures as we know it. Will you be able to overcome the threat of a national emergency, or will Sony crumble at the hands of a foreign adversary?
